64bit Windows Support is now Available

SteelEye Technology is pleased to announce the immediate general availability (GA) of LifeKeeper for Windows version 6 and SteelEye Data Replication version 6.  These updates provide support for Windows 64-bit environments and deliver a single product that can work on both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms. If you are using SQL Server 2005 and need 64bit addressability or if you are planning a migration of your Exchange environment to Exchange 2007, you need to consider a move to LifeKeeper and SteelEye Data Replication v6.

This release also includes updates to some of our application recovery kits:

         DNS Kit

         Allow multiple DNS servers to be specified

         FileShare Kit

         Improved error handling

         Do not fail restore for single NetShareAdd failures

         White space elimination enhancements to SteelEye Data Replication

         Support for larger volumes ( > 16 TB)

         Retry with smaller buffer size
